Warm up to the concept of cold, in a mammoth way!

Discover how the extinct mammoth and mastodon thrived despite living in frigid environments, and explore their impressive adaptations. Chat with a science interpreter and examine models of mammoth and mastodon teeth. Learn how mammoth skin compared with that of the modern Asian elephant. 

The programming takes place in the Planet Ice exhibition. Special exhibition fee applies.

Weekends: 10 am – 4 pm
Thursday evenings: 4 pm – 7 pm

July 1 – September 5, 2022
Daily: 10 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 4 pm
Thursday: 10 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 7 pm
