- Event – Guided tasting
This event is sold out.
Our popular Nature Tastes event returns as we focus this time on ciders.
Museum botanist Paul Sokoloff will explain the botany of apples, along with other fruit used for cider.
Discover the apple's origin in the wild and how humans have diversified it into the fruit we enjoy today.
A cider expert will be on hand to explain the different types of ciders and the processes in making them.
You'll have the opportunity to savour some ciders from different producers. The samples will be paired with light snacks.
