Canadian Museum of Nature remains open to public
The Canadian Museum of Nature remains open to the public following the Government of Ontario’s directive to close some public places on October 10 in response to increasing cases of COVID-19 in the province.
Since the museum reopened September 5, it has implemented enhanced measures and modified procedures to ensure the health and safety of visitors. These include new procedures regarding visitor flow and physical distancing within the museum, advance timed-online ticketing, wearing of mandatory masks indoors, increased frequency of cleaning, and directional signage.
In response to the latest government directive, interactives requiring direct touch will be closed. Vending machines will be removed, so no food will be available on site. The museum will continue to follow public health and government recommendations and will make modifications accordingly.
The new special exhibition, Planet Ice: Mysteries of the Ice Ages, remains open.
