News
The Canadian Museum of Nature resides on the traditional and unceded territory of the Anishinābe Algonquin people who have stewarded this Land for thousands of years. We acknowledge that the museum’s scientific research occurs in, and that the national natural-history collection originates from, the territories of the First Nations and Métis peoples and in Inuit Nunangat. We pay respect to Knowledge Keepers, both young and old, as we continue the important journey of Reconciliation.
