Global biodiversity
an international forum on the variety of life on Earth... research, conservation and wise use
Global biodiversity ceased publication with volume 8, number 4, but back issues are available.
When it was launched by the Canadian Museum of Nature in 1991, Global biodiversity was one of the first publications in the world devoted to the subject of biodiversity. The magazine evolved to become an informative medium, attracting leading authors on many important biodiversity issues, and delivered to an international audience.
Noted naturalist, philosopher and scientist E.O. Wilson called it "an excellent state-of-the-art bulletin on a central issue of our time, written at a level and in a style appealing to both professional environmentalists and the general public".

Inside each issue
- papers and views written on a diversity of topics by experts in their field;
- news updates on conferences, current research, conservation initiatives, political decisions around the world, latest relevant internet sites, upcoming meetings in the biodiversity arena;
