There were 176 parking spots arranged in a ring around the building.

This parking accounted for about 8000 square metres of space on the museum's site.

This current site plan shows the 96 spots of permanent parking on the east side of the property (left side of image), and a proposed layout for parking on the west side (grey box at right).

The proposed parking lot would replace the temporary parking lot that is currently on the museum's west side.

In this plan, parking accounts for a total of about 6500 square metres of space on the museum's site.

The plans are preliminary and will be subject to approval by the National Capital Commission and further refinements.
