Youth Opportunities

Volunteering

Our volunteer programme encourages students aged 14 and older to get involved at the Canadian Museum of Nature. We offer opportunities to interact with the public during busy school holidays. If you are outgoing, motivated and enjoy working with children, this is for you!

Position Duties

Assist museum visitors with a variety of nature-themed crafts and activities. Set up, maintain, and clean up activity area.

Time of year All year
Schedule options School holidays (in December/January, during spring break, and others such as Family Day, Thanksgiving Day, etc.)
Variable
Half-day or full-day shifts are often available
Location The museum: 240 McLeod Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Directions.
